William Lawrence dies at London result of Injuries
William Lawrence 69, died Tuesday at a London Hospital from injuries reeived when struck by an auto Monday night on a London street.
The late Mr. Lawrence was born in Glenelg township and was a son of the late Henry Lawrence and Margaret Cook of Glenelg. He farmed in Glenelg till 1932 when he moved to Galt. In 1944 he moved to London where he had resided ever since.
The deceased was a member of the Anglican Church.
Surviving are his sife, the former Kate Rainford of London, and one son Harry of Guelph, two daughters Ruby Lang Marshall and Phyllis, Mrs. Edward Cortsephine, both of London, Two sisters predeceased him who were Mrs. Annis McCormick and Mrs. Angus Milligan. Funeral services are to be held in London with the interment in Durham cemetery Thursday afternoon.

William Lawrence is buried at Glenelg
The funeral service for the late William Lawrence were held in the McTavish funeral chapel on Thursday with Rev. A. Harrison of the Anglican Church in charge. Two hymns were sung: Rock of Ages and Safe in the Arms of Jesus: and a solo. In the Garden was sung by Mrs. Moore McFadden
The pallbearers were six nephews. Glenn Patterson, Archie Lawrence, Ray Hopkins, Don MacCuaig, Clifford Ritchie, William Porter.
Friends from a distance were from Centre Line, Mich. , Detroit , Pennsylvania, Toronto, Guelph, Dundalk.
Interment was in the Anglican Cemetery on the 2nd Con. of Glenelg.
