Obituary Ledingham-Sybil; passed away at the Durham Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 28, 1986, Sybil Lawrence in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Percy Ledingham, dear mother of Doreen ,Mrs. Royden Hopkins, RR#4 Durham, ; Betty , Mrs. Don Pust, Durham; Carol ,Mrs. Barry Barber, Barrie and William of Strathroy. Also survived by twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one sister-in-law Annabell Mrs. Tom Lawrence of Durham. Predeceased by one daughter Audrey Ann, tow sisters Sadie McGirr and Myrtle Ledingham, two brothers Tom and Howard and four step brothers Jack, Ed, William and Charles. Service will be held in Durham Thursday, May 1st at 2:00 pm.

Obit Howard Lawrence dies in Durham October 1971
Howard Lawrence 65, of RR#2 Durham died Friday at Durham Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A farmer in Bentinck Township all his life, he was the son of the later Mr.& Mrs. Charles Lawrence. He is survived by his wife, the former Jessie Leddingham, son Gary, of Durham and a daughter Isabel , Mrs. Donald Schuknecht of Guelph. Mr. Lawrence is also survived by sister's Sadie, Mrs. Jim McGirr of Mich., Myrtle, Mrs. John Ledingham, of Saskatoon, and Sybil, Mrs. Percy Ledingham. of Durham. Also surviving are his three brothers, Tom of Durham, Edward of Alberta, and William of Manitoba. He is predeceased by one one sister and three brothers. Services will be held Monday, October 4, 3:30 pm. Internment Durham Cemetery.

Obit _ Thomas Albert Lawrenceof Durham died June 13, 1982 at the Durham Memorial Hospital, he was 72 years of age. He was born July 18, 1909 in Bentinck Township , son of the late Charles Lawrence and the late Lydia Noble Lawrence. He farmed in Bentinck Township for 30 years, moving to Durham in 1956. He was a real estate salesman from 1957 until his retirement in 1975. He married the former Annabelle MacArthur in July 1934. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jack, Don and Brian all of Durham and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son Leslie. He is also survived by one sister Sybil, Mrs. Percy Ledingham of ;Durham. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Howard and Herb , four half brothers George , Jack, Edward and William and three sisters Sadie McGirr, Myrtle Ledingham and Hattie. The late Mr. Lawrence was an adherent of Durham Baptist Church, a past member of the Kinsmen Club, K40 Club, Cemetery Board and trusteeof the school board. Pallbearers will be Bert Lawrence , Royden Hopkins, Chester Lawrence , Gordon Armstrong, Deith Dickson, Internment in Durham Cemetery. Resting at the McCulloch Funeral Home in Durham after 7 pm Monday where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 1982 at 2pm
Thomas Lawrence took over the land in Jan. 1935 lot 54 con. 3 WGR and it became the home farm with lots 51, 52 and 53.

Obituary Lawrence- Mary Helena , passed away in the Durham Memorial Hospital Wednesday, March 29, 1972, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Bradley Lawrence. Dear mother of Bert of Glenelg Township, dear sister of Alma Mrs. Alex McQueen of Nottawa, Lawrence and Frank of Singhampton. Also survived by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Resting at the Kress-McCulloch Funeral Home, where service will be held on Saturday. April 1 at 2 pm. Temporary entombment Durham Cemetery Chapel.
obit - Mrs. Charles B. Lawrence, 80, of Glenelg twp. died Wednesday in Durham Memorial Hospital. The former Mary Hammill, she was born in Singhampton on Oct. 25, 1881, a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. William Hammill. Following her marriage to Mr. Lawrence in Singhampton the couple lived for one year in Orangeville before moving to the Durham area. Mr. Lawrence died several years ago. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of the Anglican Church in Singhampton. Surviving are one son, Bert of Glenelg twp. ,two brothers, Lawrence and Frank Hammill, both of Singhampton, one sister Alma, Mrs. Alex McQueen of Nottawa, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
