Obituary Lawrence Rex-Passed away at Durham Memorial Hospital, on Monday April, 23,1984, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the former Pauline Noble, dear father of Edith Mrs. Rolly Naud of Owen Sound and Chester of Durham, grandfather of Lance. Predeceased by two sisters and two brothers. Resting at McCulloch Funeral Home, Durham, after 7 pm today, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2pm. Internment , Durham Cemetery.

Obituary Lawrence- Died Sunday afternoon August 29,1948 in Owen Sound General and Marine Hospital, Annie Eva Lawrence of Durham, Ont. daughter of the late Thomas Hutton Lawrence and his wife, Charlotte Anne Forman, in her 52nd year,sister of Hattie, Mrs.Newton Philip of Hepworth, Charles of Agincourt and Rex of Bentinck, Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 1 at 2 p.m. from the residence of her brother Rex, on the Durham Road. Internment in Hutton Hill Cemetery.
Miss A. Lawrence of Durham Passes Durham, August 30,1948- Miss Annie Eva, 51 year old resident of this town, passed away in Owen Sound Hospital early on Sunday afternoon after a five day illness, her many friends will learn with deep sorrow. Miss Lawrence had lived in this district for many years and was well and favorably known. The late Miss Lawrence had resided in Durham for the past eight years. She was born on March 11, 1897, in Bentinck Township, the daughter of the late Thomas Hutton Lawrence and his wife, Charlotte Anne Forman. Miss Lawrence received her education SS No. 3 Bentinck Township. She was a member of Knox Church in Durham. She leaves to mourn her loss one sister, Hattie, Mrs. Newton Philip of Hepworth and two brothers, Charles of Agincourt, and Rex of Bentinck Township.

Obituary Thomas W. Lawrence Passes at Durham Dated July 8, 1860
A native of Bentinck Township, Thomas William Lawrence died Thursday at the home of his brother, Charles B. Lawrence of Durham. He was in his 78th year. Born in Bentinck, Mr. Lawrence was the son of the late John Lawrence and Mary Ann Bradley Lawrence, For 35 years he lived at Barrhead, Alberta, returning four years ago to Mount Forest. Following his illness he came to Durham five days ago to live with his brother. The late Mr. Lawrence, who was unmarried, is survived by one brother, Charles B. Lawrence of Durham. He was a member of the Anglican Church.
Obituary The funeral service for the late Thoams William Lawrence, who died Thursday, were held in the Kress Funeral Home, Bruce Street, Saturday. Rev. A.H. Harrison of the Trinity Anglican Church was the clergyman in charge. The pallbears were the Rev. Lawrence, Gary Lawrence, Howard Lawrence. Thomas Lawrence, Donald Lawrence and James Langrill. Internment was in the Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Glenelg Township.

Mrs. E.J. Anderson dies in Saskatoon
Durham Feb.15 Charles B. Lawrence received word of the death of his sister, Mrs. Edward J. Anderson, who died February 13, at Saskatoon, in her 56th year . The deceased was formerly Margaret Alice Lawrence, daughter of Mrs. Lawrence of Edmonton and the late John Lawrence of Bentinck, Township. She was born on the farm now owned by William Manto and was a teacher in the Hutton Hill and Blythe's School and in 1910 went west, where she taught school at Plenty, Sask. before her marriage to Edward J. Anderson, who was a farmer, but they spent their winters in Saskatoon. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by two brothers, Charles B. Lawrence fo Durham and Thomas W. Lawrence of Barrhead, Sask. and was predeceased by her sister.

Obituary Lawrence- Suddenly in the Durham Memorial Hospital on Friday July 27, 1952 Charles Bradley Lawrence, age 67. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lawrence. Husband of Mary (Mamie) Hammill of Singham and dear father of Bert of Durham. Resting at the Kress Funeral Home, Durham, where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30, at 2 pm. Rev. Maurice Farr of London, former rector of Durham Trinity Anglican will conduct the funeral services. Internment Trinity Anglican Cemetery.

Charles Bradley Lawrence , 67 died suddenly on Friday at the Durham Memorial Hospital, of a heart attack. He was cleaning up a lot on the outskirts of Durham at the time. Mr. Lawrence was born in Bentinck Township and was a resident of Durham for most of his life. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Lawrence. He married the former Mary "Mamie" Hamil of Singhampton, who survives. Surviving besides his wife , is a son , Bert of Durham. He and his son owned a beef livestock farm, just outside Durham. Mr. Lawrence was a well known harness racing enthusiast and had owned some of the top racing horses. He was a manufacturer of lightning rod products for 35 years and the Durham representative for the International Harvester farm implements. He was formerly a school teacher and had been a butcher and owned a grocery store for some years. Mr. Lawrence was a member of the Anglican Church.

The Kress Funeral Home was filled to capacity Monday when the funeral service for the late Charles B. Lawrence was held. In the absence of Rev. A H Harrison of Trinity Anglican Church, who was on holidays, Rev. Morris Farr, assisted by Rev. JA McCrea of Durham Bapist Church were the officiating clergymen. The floral tributes were numerous and were carried by relatives and friends. The pall bearers were Rex Lawrence, Howard Lawrence, Thomas Lawrence, James Langrill , George Duncan, Dundalk and William Stevenson, Mount Forest. Friends and relatives were present from Singhampton, Toronto, Simcoe, Hanover, Owen Sound , Duntroon, Dundalk and Mount Forest.
