Note for: Fidel Guerra, 4 JUL 1958 - Index
Alias: /Nene/
Emigration:
Date: FEB 2000
Place: Cuba to United States
Individual Note:
(email from Fidel Guerra to Tony Toledo, Jr - November 28, 2004)
Gracias. Fide.

Yes, I can speak and write in English but not so good as You do it. Anyway we are going to speak so much, that my English will improve a lot. I'm very exited also
I'm working in the third shift, that is why for I could not to answer earlier. The picture in the message # 3 is my Mother (Caridad). She was so beatiful , so joung ... We have that same picture in home... in Camagüey, but because so long time passed, it became a little yellow. This one is much better. I have so much to tell You , I have so much to tell to our people in Cuba
I know many history about your grandfather, toll by Mami and my aunts. Unfortunatelly, I have to tell You, first, the worse news. My mother died on last november 14. It was painful for me because I could not travel to Cuba to see her, to kiss her, last time. I came to US in february 2000, and visited Cuba in 2002. It was the last time I could see her. She died pacefully. That day was sunday, at 1:00 o'clock she went to sleep, and not wake up again... at 6:00 pm was declared died. In 2002, her mind was like a babe mind, she spoke about many thing that we cannot understand, and mentioned many unknows names for us. In her mind, US was a little farmer town like her childrenhood's Francisco (actual Amancio), where everybody knows to every other. One day she asked me: "Do you have seem them?". To see whom Mami? -I answred. "Tony".
I did know which "Tony" she was speaking about, but I don't had any idea where to find to "Tony". Maybe, because the nostalgia of her love, I have clicked in my browser "Juvier". Then I found the geanological tree, and found you... and my mother's Tony. My aunt Addy died also some years ago. But, all my other aunts are alive. Only my aunt Ellen is living in Camagüey city. The others one are still living in Francisco. Aunt Elda is living in Pinar del Rio.
In the first picture that you have sent, are my grandmother Maria, my mother, my aunt Elda, and uncle Enrique (he is the only son of my grandmother). Ellen is the younger one. I'm going to find some pictures for you.
I'm sending two pictures of myself (in the work place). I have some pictures of my mother with some of my sisters in my other computer, but I can't pass them to this computer now. Today I will contact to my sister Caridad (Lety) in Cuba. She will pass the great news to Camagüey.
We are in contact. Abrazos, Fide.
