"Dear Madam: -
I take very great pleasure in stating that I am intimately acquainted with Miss Edith I. English, who is a candidate for admission into the Evanston Hospital Training School for nurses, having known her from childhood up. I can only say that she is one of the brightest and best of girls, and that I am satisfied she will be found to be clever and undoubtedly reliable in every respect.
It is hardly necessary for me to add that her family and connections stand amongst the highest in this community.
Yours faithfully," (signature of L.H. Dampier, her future husband)

Individual Note: Hi Tony,
I think I sent you a message previously, but I am interested in this family and wonder if you have information on the children of Nelson and Margaret Weatherall, other than Irene.
I found the birth of Frances May Weatherall (the last child in your list). She was born on 9 Apr 1903 in Melancthon Township.
You have Irene Vena Weatherall b 18 Feb 1897. When I checked the Ontario Vital Statistics I found the birth of Nelson and Margaret's dau., but her name was Florence M. Weatherall, b 17 Feb 1897 in Melancthon Twp.
I haven't been able to find Nelson Weatherall's death in 1915. Did he die outside Ontario? Did Margaret as well?
